I came across a program meant for saving tigers in katraj zoo .Some of the under liners by various experts .
1. We should conserve nature and make more eco friendly world spread more awareness .
2. Should not encourage products which will kill tigers .
3. The forest guards should be well equipped with latest weapons and should have well enough salary and more rights .
But some how felt these efforts are not enough . So I raised a point of captive breeding .
My point was not so much welcome because of following points .
A. this has failed in china ,reason being people who want these tigers are looking for ingredients are not in captive breeding .
Well first of all , we will captive breed not for these sellers.
B. Some people think this will be disastrous to captive breed .
Not sure of reasons . I would welcome for the reasons.
People think tigers would not survive jungle when they are captive breed .
My answers to them such small tigers need to train to survive .
I am confident they will survive .
It is need of the hour to go for such an approach .
I have heard of one project of white backed vultures . Which are undergoing captive breeding because they are getting extinct .
So why not tigers !
